Self Defense

The importance of learning self defense is increasing your chances of survival during an attack. One of my favorite quotes is this. "It is better to be a warrior in a garden; than a gardener in a war." This means you knowing how to defend yourself gives you the tools to fight back rather than not knowing anything and being in a situation where you will have to defend yourself without preparation.
